with "water 1991", Kokeshidisk continues the re-release of pre-AUBE releases.
like "water 1990" we released in 2005, this is the soundtrack to an exhibition by arichi+sasaoka in 1991 and is a two-disc set (to respect the format of the original release) designed to be played at the same time. don't worry they can perfectly be played separately, though!
nakajima-san follows the same path started on "water 1991": using mainly water as sound source, he composed an almost peaceful soundtrack with a (not so) surprising noisy finale, announcing the first AUBE works...

(2017 digital reissue notes)
It's with great pleasure that we can now propose you a digital version of this double cd-r release. We've been asked several times to reissue it but as Akifumi is no longer with us and as we never talked at the time about a possible reissue/digital issue of "water 1991", we were reluctant to do it. Now that Satoru Higashiseto, who is in charge of Akifumi's artistic legacy on behalf of his sister, has given us the permission, we can propose you this digital version.
The download comes with the original cover & CD labels designed by Akifumi Nakajima.
